A lot can happen in a week! After finalizing a contract with Bo Bichette, trading for Luis Robert Jr., and signing free agent RP Luis Garcia, David Stearns completed a trade with his old team, acquiring Brewers ace Freddy Peralta and Tobias Myers for prospects Brandon Sproat and Jett Williams. With the heavy lifting seemingly over this offseason, the Mets have remade their team into a World Series contender, after a disappointing 2025 season. With the vision finally in clear view, we can discuss if the Mets are truly better than they were last season, and what, if anything, they have left to do before opening day. With the holidays now in the rearview mirror, and 2026 here, there are still plenty of players available, and the Mets have lots of holes to fill. How quickly will the Hot Stove pick back up? Which moves will the Mets make to complete their roster for the start of the season? Without revisiting the moves they didn't make, which players would YOU like to see them pursue? Were they right to not value Imai as an impact arm? Chances they sign Tucker or Bellinger? Remember to subscribe and turn notifications on, so you never miss an episode!

With the trade of Jeff McNeil to the A's, the teardown of the old Mets' core is officially complete. Whether fans agree or not, the reality is, the 2026 team and beyond will look a lot different. If David Stearns builds a winner, he will be vindicated and celebrated. If he fails, it will get ugly. Undoubtably, he has a plan for 2026, but what is it? Let's talk about it. Plus, should Montreal get a team again? Where else will MLB expand to? And why the sports fans in London are awesome. You never know where the conversation will go on Walkoff Whiskey!
🚨 Episode 224 is LIVE 🚨
The Mets signed RP Luke Weaver to a two-year deal, making him the second backend of the bullpen arm the Mets have added from their crosstown rival this offseason. With a number of former Bronx Bombers already in Queens, and rumors that the Mets are linked to Cody Bellinger as well, do you care if the Mets heavily pursue former Yankees? With the holidays expected to slow down the offseason next week, do you think the Mets will make another significant acquisition before then? Cohen sounds off on the Mets’ payroll. Plus, whatever else is on your mind! Just me and you, 'til the glass is empty. Remember to subscribe and turn notifications on, so you never miss a show!

Good AFTERNOON, Mets fans!
Good morning, Mets fans!
🚨 Episode 191 is LIVE 🚨
On a cold, windy, rainy night in Minnesota, the Mets picked up a tidy 5-1 victory over the lowly Twins.
After another series win, the Mets are the only team in the league who hasn't lost 2 games in a row to this point.
Busy couple of days, but I missed you guys! Since our last Morning Minute, the Mets wrapped up a 5-1 home stand before winning their first game in Sacramento v. the A's. Last night, however, the bats went cold again and the Mets were on the losing side of another frustrating game.
🚨 Episode 190 is LIVE 🚨
After a pitcher's duel resulted in a 2-0 shutout of the Marlins the night before, the Mets offense is unleashed for a 10-5 victory. They win their sixth straight ballgame, remain undefeated at home, and look to sweep the homestead today.
What more could you ask for than a sweep in the first home series of the season? The Mets and Blue Jays played a quick, old school kinda game on Sunday, with New York picking up a narrow 2-1 victory.
On a cold and rainy night for baseball, the Mets picked up an inspiring late-inning win, reminiscent of the latter half of the 2024 season. Former Met Chris Bassitt kept the Mets lineup off balance for most of the game. Griffin Canning matched him stride for stride early, but ultimately his pitch count got him out of the game with no outs recorded in the 5th.
The Mets have a knack for winning on both Opening Day, and their home opener, and that trend continued yesterday with a shutout victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.
It was an ugly, UGLY game, but the Mets snuck out of South Florida with a win. The box score won't look good in most cases, but a win is a win. Pete Alonso continues his clutch start, with his game-tying 3-run homer. Torrens pinch hits late and provides TWO game-saving plays on defense. With that, the Mets are a dead even 3-3, as they head back to New York for the home opener on Friday! #LGM #Mets
🚨 Episode 189 is LIVE 🚨
After an offensive outburst the night before, the Mets' bats went quiet again. Senga pitched good, at times, his stuff looked great, put it wasn't quite good enough. In his first start back after the birth of his son, Francisco Lindor had a very uncharacteristic 2-error game. Max Kranick looked GREAT again in relief, as the Marlins even the series at one win apiece. Rubber match is later on today. Can the Mets take the series win?
After only scoring 5 runs in 3 games in Houston, the Mets' offense turns things around in a big way to open the series in Miami. The Mets scored 10 runs, on 11 hits and 4 home runs -- with every player in the starting lineup getting at least 1 hit. Their good pitching performances continued, this time from David Peterson and Huascar Brazobán, who combined for 8 IP and 2 R on just 6 hits, with 11 Ks. The Mets even their early season record to 2-2.
The Mets' offense was flat, but was it really as bad as it seemed? Credit to Canning, Butto and Kranick, all of whom had very successful debuts!
Juan Soto homers, Tylor Megill looks sharp, and the bullpen closes the door, as the Mets get their first win of the season! #LGM #Mets #JuanSoto
Mets fall to Astros 3-1 on #OpeningDay, as we debut a new segment, the 'Til Mets Morning Minute, where we talk as quickly as possible about the biggest Mets stories!

The Mets have been made an OFFER from Pete Alonso! Odd to say since its usually the other way around with Scott Boras. We inch closer to pitchers and catchers and Pete still needs a home with minimal action. Time is money! It feels like resolution is near. If not Pete then who? Roki Sasaki told the Mets no, is the staff officially set? What about the Bullpen!?
