A Decade of Horror - The Epilogue
A Decade of Horror 2020 - The final episode proper on our journey to count down a decade of horror movies. Obviously we're in 2020 now, the year that will forever be remembered as the year of COVID and it definitely impacted this years horror movie releases. We detail our favorites that actually released and we also discuss the movies we were most looking forward to seeing that were delayed.
A Decade of Horror 2019 - We continue our Ari Aster lovefest with Midsommar but before we get there we remember the Fyre, we shared photos of eggs, & we created the Space Force (oddly in the same year we were in the End Game).
A Decade of Horror 2018 - Josh throws the show a curveball as he reads his POSITIVE news of 2018! We have a shake up in the royal family, we found water on mars, and we were all witnessed to an infinity war. 2018 (and 2019) honestly could be considered the a two part series as we kick off the legend that is Ari Aster so strap in for us to drool over two of our collective favorite movies this decade.
A Decade of Horror 2017 - HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Depending on whether you are a patron or not, this episode should roll out on our favorite holiday of the year or shortly before. This year’s Halloween is undoubtedly a completely different take & however you and your family choose to celebrate we want to wish you happy, safe, and enjoyable day. For those of you staying inside, we’ve got you covered this week with a little Halloween talk and another PACKED episodes of our favorite horror movies.
A Decade of Horror 2016 - The year ushered in a generation of stranger things to think about while we played Pokemon Go. During this time we had a lot to be thankful for in the world of scary movies between puritan witches to green rooms to crazy mind-splitting anthologies.
A Decade of Horror 2015 - Star Wars returned (again), the masses collectively stared up at the stars, and we lost Craven. We also put on our cowboy hats, followed the leader, and it was cool to like M. Night again. We also get into what very well maybe our first, real, disagreement.
A Decade of Horror 2014 - A year in which we all sing and dance to Happy, the Spurs #BeatTheHeat, and spiders were scaring everyone by climbing into gas tanks!? We also encountered a new manifestation of the boogeyman, we met Deborah, and we went through hell.
A Decade of Horror kicks off with 2013 - A year in which a biking star fell from grace, new video game consoles launched, and twerk became a word. In between we witnessed a horror legend reborn, Chucky returned, and a horror cinematic universe began.
A Decade of Horror kicks off with 2012 - No the world didn’t end, instead, women wore black, insidious creatures took flight, and teens everywhere went on camping trips to cabins out in the woods. Did any of your favorites make our lists? Listen to find out!
A Decade of Horror kicks off with 2011 - It’s Harry Potter’s world, Adele rolls deep, and the Mavericks STUN the Miami Heat & #winning with Tiger Blood. On the spooky side Paranormal Activity 3 crushed the box office, we argue whether or not to count A Cabin in the Woods, and we reminisce fondly for Scream and Final Destination.
A Decade of Horror kicks off with 2010. iPads, Instagram, Antoine Dodson and of course horror movies. We hop back in time and remember a year full of paranormal activity that starred wolfmen, a walk on Elm Street, and folks getting crazy.
Greetings Koopalings!
