We have a special guest on today's episode: Moh! The Marina to Saif's Shizuka, trying to steal his Azuma in Reeves—the most fitting guest possible for our review of Takopi's Original Sin  (a deceptively cute but emotionally devastating anime about trauma, regret, and one very confused alien trying to fix it all—thanks, ChatGPT).

A partnership between Delta and Crunchyroll has been announced, and Saif and Reeves want to make sure the NOAers know which anime to (NOT) watch on an airplane once it rolls out later this year!

Does Reeves have good game? Did he actually get tinnitus at Saif’s wedding? Does he have Hajime no Ippo style cauliflower ears? Who knows. What we do know is that we’ve got some great anime content for you today as we celebrate over four years of Not Only;Anime!

Saif and Reeves are hoping to get hit by a bus and get isekaied to a magical world! Until that happens, we'll keep giving you great anime content.

As we alluded to in the last episode, Saif’s anime consumption has taken a nosedive, with Crunchyroll Wrapped revealing a pitiful 283 hours streamed in 2024. Reeves has also been stepping away from anime, focusing instead on creating Blender content for his YouTube channel, Augury Blender.

We are no longer an anime podcast, and are now a Flat Earth podcast! Just kidding—we're still an anti-Black Clover podcast.

Reeves is doing what he does best and came down with food poisoning for a THIRD TIME! He may have a weak stomach, but on this episode, Saif and Reeves talk about what episodes of the Spring 2024 Anime season they are able to stomach. From Reeves' initial vision of Kaiju No. 8 being a monster cleanup show dying to Ciel and Sebastian's yaoi relationship, the boys will reveal all the details you need to know!

You may be familiar with his content on YouTube  where he explores the art, history, and culture of the collectible card game Magic: the Gathering. No, this is not David Blaine's magic, but something much more accessible to everyone! Think Pokémon cards for you weebs that haven't explored Magic like Saif. (Not) Only will we be talking about Magic, but today we talk about Akira and it's influence on the Magic world in terms of annihilation. As Reeves likes to point out on the episode, Saif doesn't dive into themes. However, Sam said it best, Saif is the Lewis and Clark of the anime world, which is essential to expanding our horizons. As all of our NOAers know, Saif is a hardcore One Piece fan and he is dying to give us his review on the new live-action along with Reeves!
