...yep, we said that correctly. Welcome to the second episode of SEASON 2. This week, we talk about the 1-0 win against our favorite enemy Houston and the disappointing 0-2 loss at Colorado. It's early in the MLS season, but it's never too early to make predictions. Will SKC figure out their defensive issues? Is Dave right about Cam Duke being the future of civilization? Will Remi and Riley get lost at sea when she goes to visit? Who's to say...

With a sad start to the season, the team attempts to find the bright side in the 3-1 loss to Atlanta. We talk the struggles of a new defense, having dreams of Daniel Salloi, and our future hopefulness of a new season. 

That's right! The evil broadcast villain is vanquished! We have a LOT of news to cover this episode so join us as we discuss all the comings and goings of basically the entire off-season. Season 2 is looking promising already!

On the final episode of season 1, the gang talks about some of the best moments of the season and gives out the most prestigious award any SKC player could ask for, "The Onesie". From MVP to best beers on the podcast, we wrap up the season on a high note while looking forward to the future of SKC and 1 Sporting Way. 

. . . must come to an end. Sad music rings in the end of Sporting KC's season. We couldn't bring ourselves to provide a match recap so here it is: Johnny Russell converted a PK in the first half but a 91st-minute goal from substitute Bobby Wood sent Sporting KC to a 2-1 defeat after fellow substitute Anderson Julio had equalized in the 72nd minute. That hurt to write.

Sporting KC handled Vancouver in the first round and we were all there to see it - sort of. We bask in the glory of a dominant performance, including an absolute screamer from Graham Zusi, and take a look at some of Sporting's greatest ever goal scorers.

HERE WE GOOOO. The 1 Sporting Way Pod Squad officially finalized their MLS Cup playoffs bracket (which you can see on our Instagram). With the first round of playoffs starting this weekend, we talked through our picks, reported on soccer news around the country, and said goodbye to our all-time favorite SKC captain, Matt Besler, who just announced his retirement from professional soccer.

Sporting KC had a rough week, losing their third game in a row after not losing in back-to-back games all season. BUT... the MLS regular season is officially over and SKC finished third in the Western Conference. On this episode, Remi and Dave try to keep things positive, even after Riley is out with unexpected car problems. Can Sporting bounce back in time for their first playoff game in a few weeks? We aren't sure, but we'll be cheering them on with all our might regardless.

This week Riley and Remi break down a lot of SKC and KC WOSO news including multiple MLS weekly awards, a new stadium and look for WOSO, and oh yeah, there was still 2 Sporting KC games to talk about. We also find out Remi's surprising knowledge about Gadi Kinda! 

After Riley got a little defensive last week about his favorite mascot, it's Dave's turn this week as controversy erupts over Sporting Kansas City's official color scheme. We celebrate a nerve-wracking win over Seattle that included a sneaky milestone for Johnny Russell, and reminisce about Carli Lloyd's second-to-last game in the Red, White, and Blue.

Playoffs are getting closer and closer, and Sporting KC is about to enter the homestretch of the regular MLS season. But never fear! Our mascot Blue is here to lead us all the way! This is our busiest week yet! We have three games on the docket after SKC followed up a disappointing loss to Seattle with two convincing Western Conference wins against Dallas and Houston. We dig into all the highs and lows, including Peter Vermes' odd substitution strategy, Johnny Russell's leadership, and Gianluca Busio's first goal for Venezia.

For two straight weeks, all three of us are back in action! With no Sporting KC games to report on this time, the pod squad dives into some fan questions and reminisces on the glory days of youth soccer, adult rec leagues and some of our favorite things. Lots of laughs guaranteed.

The whole team is back to talk about an amazing 4-0 win over Minnesota United! But don't worry, the team still got into plenty of random topics from Dave admitting something good about Minnesota, how we would spend the Busio money, and Remi's search for her next mango beer! 

This week Dave and Riley attempt to hold down the fort after Remi's computer decided to jump off a cliff and explode. Without Remi the boys not only talk about the 4-0 loss to LAFC and the 2-0 win against Chicago, but also jump down every rabbit hole possible. These include the benefits of relegation, dislike of certain teams, tattoos, and our love/hate relationship with the USMNT. 

Riley and Dave are on their own this week, but they have plenty of Sporting action to discuss! Dániel Sallói's MVP campaign gained steam this week after he rescued a point against Portland with a stoppage time strike. We also debate whether Rémi Walter really deserved his first career red card and marvel at yet another week of Tim Melia's heroics. Join us as we discuss all the latest plus Venezia FC's unorthodox transfer strategies, the importance of drawstrings, and Riley's new status as family soccer expert.

This week we break down and then try to forget the 1-6 loss to Leon followed by a beautiful 2-0 win over FC Dallas. In the process we learn a new term of the week, drink delicious beer, and find out that Dave had a crazy "adventure" with some wasps. 

This week Sporting KC picked up four points from two tough road games. Join us as we bask in the 4-1 win over LAFC that saw Peter Vermes earn his 200th win as manager, and discuss how in the world Tim Melia isn't an all-star after another standout performance in the 0-0 draw against Colorado. With Busio officially gone it's time to welcome new signing Jose Mauri, but more importantly what is Riley planning on doing with his crowdsourced transfer fee now that Venezia out bid him?

We have a lot to talk about this week after Sporting demolished top-ranked Seattle on the road, but also managed to lose to FC Dallas at home.
