Pastor's kids, missionary kids, elders' kids, and preacher's kid are often known as "clergy kids" or sometimes, in Malaysia, where we're from, are called "PKs/MKs" to help ease things up. Speaking of which, we've heard many stories and encounters about them especially in light of their deconstructions stories (namely, Abraham Piper and Jon Steingard). What are our thoughts on them? This round, Mark and Ezra shares their story and opinions.
What are your favorite Bible translations and where do they come from? Also, with the rise of TPT and MSG as preferred options, controversies arise. We have a lot to say for this episode. So, join us as we converse and argue about our favorite translations!

The Pride Month happens every year in the month of June, where the LGBTQ+ movements and individuals rally on the streets and chanting for equality and special rights. Lately, it spread throughout social media with stickers, emojis and random adverts. To add on, churches are becoming much more friendly and inclusive by ordaining LGBTQ+ priests, deacons, elders and bishops and advocating for pro-LGBTQ+ theology. Those who are against it, on the other hand, face persecutions and the threat of cancel culture. The Christian world today is divided because of this. What does the Bible actually says about LGBTQ+ lifestyle and orientation, and what should the church do?
Throughout the history, the Christian faith emerges as a faith for the weak, the poor, the lost, the broken and the blind. The Christian faith have also been through many histories of crusades, battles and restoration, particularly during the Reformation era where the Reformers called for the supremacy of the Scripture and the sovereignty of God above traditions and man-made beliefs and superstitions. However, since the rise of liberalism from the Enlightenment era, the Church will have to continue the spirit of the Reformation in regards to the rise of a movement that seeks to deconstruct Christianity away from its fundamentals in favor of the trends and popular views of the world: Progressive Christianity. What do we have to say about it and what should our attitude be towards it? How to discern it? Join us as we unpack more!
The whole Christian world is shaken by the news about Ravi Zacharias and his nefarious acts of sexual misconduct and abuse of power. Many organizations and churches began to disassociate themselves from his ministry, RZIM and bookstores have called to an end the selling and marketing of his books. There are many responses that would either advocate the cancel-culture attitude or the hyper-mercy attitude. Either way, we believe that these responses would only add salt to the wounds. So, we developed our response to Ravi's misconducts, and reflect upon the cancel-culture and how the Christian churches have idolized their preachers & theologians above God!
Why Christianity is divided by denominations? What's with the number of cults today? What are the differences between the Roman Catholic Church and the Protestant movement? What is the Reformation and why are Christians so hyped-up about it? Do we still need the Reformation? Join Ezra, Ruby, Mark and Sir Neng as they chat about the Reformation, denominations and cults.
The occult is fascinating: Magic, mantras, amulets, crystals, meditations, tarot cards, ouija boards, fortune telling, astrology, superstitions, rituals, pentagrams, covens and even "Christian witches" but full of hazards. In our world that constantly denies the supernatural in favor of naturalism and science, there is growing concern of youths and young adults falling into the dark, dangerous world of the occult to a point to leaving the Christian faith for witchcraft, Satanism and New Age spirituality. What is our take on the issue? Join us as we casually discuss and help Christians to tackle this with grace and truth.
"I am blessed, I am anointed..." or "God is raising you to be a giant-killer" are commonly heard in our church today. In fact, championed by preachers with seminary degrees or a well-to-do Bible teachers. Motivational speeches are prevailing on Sunday pulpits and along with this, the Bible is perverted further away from its original context. Well, there is nothing wrong with talking about Christian living but the question lies upon what is the aim of the Church when preaching the Word?
Every year, the Christian world would witness a group of people that classify themselves "prophets" and "apostles". They'd prophesy, perform miracles, naming-and-claiming, proclaiming, declaring and organize big gatherings in the name of Christ. They dictate the Christian world with teachings that seem profound but odd. Often than not, their prophecies and the signs revealed do not tally with the Word of God, although, they claim fresh revelations from God. Likewise, their claims to the supernatural gift of healing had failed many, including non-Christians. Christians, however, are still falling into the social phenomenon around these so-called "prophets and apostles" and craving for more signs and wonders through them. Do they exist? What does the Word says about them? Also, what is the Word saying about the healing, signs and wonders? Join us as we unpack them further.
