12 frames a second: conversations of the culturally handicapped by The Sleep Deprivation Club

We are very relieved to see a relatively mediocre season of anime, as we are both very busy this summer.

We actually talk about anime for once.

With two whole guests, Johnny and Curtis, returning, we try in vain to talk about anime and end up just talking shit for a good hour. The seeds of a new show are sown.

Johnny joins us once more to completely derail our normal conversation about anime, guiding it instead into manipulating children and The French Question.

In what is objectively the funniest episode so far, our one listener Johnny joins us to be confused while we talk about the winter season. After that, what was supposed to be a deep discussion on art turns into a half hour long waifu war with Jack in the bleachers.

This episode, we look ahead to see what lesser, mediocre, garbage is in store for us, entirely unaware of the Anime Vortex that is opening before us. Technical difficulties ensue.

For the first time, we have a full guest, our buddy Curtis, joining us. We go over the week before talking *extremely* in-depth about Re:Zero until the the bot breaks and cuts us off.

This week, Jack is very tired and Aiden tries his darndest to summon the sheer intellect necessary to talk about harem anime for 50 minutes.

We say what few thoughts we have on the few shows we cover (scheduling issues), then Jack rambles about SMT for way too long.

This week, we discuss absolutely everything we watched last week, which ends up taking an hour and a half, so Re:Zero will have to wait.

We talk for way too long about the very few shows from last week, and then cover the very very long East Blue arc of One Piece. As always, the recording bot malfunctions.

We describe our thoughts on every single show we watched this season, before our friend Johnny pops in and ruins everything.

We quickly cover all the cool stuff that happened this week, including many endings, before we cover the absolute beast of a season that is to be Winter 2021. And by we, I mean me, Jack, because Aiden got a convenient excuse to leave a few minutes in to the overview. 

We cover all of the weekly shows, including Aiden's 100% accurate Attack On Titan theory. After that, we talk about what should have been Game of the Year, Hades.

Back on schedule! This time we go over one of our personal favorites: Rascal Does Not Simp For 2D Women, I believe it's called.

This time we take a look at what was a good week when we are very tired.  We also go over a bit of Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei 2. The audio breaks again in places, so don't be surprised if it sounds weird.

Hiya, we got a short one today as we cover Week 5 of Fall 2020, and then the recordings fucking break. Friday the 13th got to it, I suppose. We're gonna have to end up skipping Week 6, sorry about that. We know it hurts a lot when you can't hear our sultry voices for an extra week, but you've stuck through it, champ. Fuck the Craig bot, have fun.

We go over our thoughts on this week's batch of episodes, as well as our growing love for Jujutsu Kaisen. Then Aiden continues his tradition of dipping out towards the end and Jack introduces his odyssey of playing everything in the MegaTen franchise, starting with the very first one.

This time we quickly skim over what happened this week and then cover the Black Clover OPs one by one. Aiden is also only there half the time because he has dogs.

This week we talk about Black Clover and how Aiden's an incel. Oh, and the weekly stuff too.

We attempt to discuss the utter absurdity that was the first week of Fall 2020, as well as the entirety of Fire Force up to current (so we can cover it in the future).

We talk about everything we watched in the Summer 2020 season, and it's objectively better than all the previous episodes. This is more like our content moving forward, so lets hope it's entertaining!

We take a look at the upcoming Fall 2020 season, and make a definitive list of what we're going to be watching and covering. Aiden gets bored quickly, and I quickly become unable to read, so please come laugh at us. Our buddy Max is there too, I guess, and he might return to provide some much needed random topic-changes.

The intro episode, where we figure out what we want this podcast to be, and then quickly run out of things to decide, so we shift into a few random things. Should be fun.

This was the second and final episode to our first podcast attempt, Social Turmoil, which we did with a couple of other friends. We got kind of bored of it, but Aiden and I really liked doing this anime episode, so we turned it into the center focus and kicked out the other guys.
