Although we are at the close of another year and the start of a new one, we must continue aggressively working towards our goals like we are running out of time. With 7-weeks left in this year, if we continue working towards our goals, we may complete them. If we are unable to complete them, we roll them over to the next year and continue working on them.

Use What’s In Your Hands

Each of us are born with gifts. By using the gifts and talents in our hands we have the ability to use what comes easily and naturally to us. We also have to be careful who we give our gifts and talents to. Do not let people take advantage of what you are gifted with. 

Go Back and Help

Going through obstacles is not new to us. It is a part of life. We learn lessons based on our own experiences, we must remember to go back and help our brothers and sisters. Sharing our experiences can assist and save someone else. However, the person must be willing to accept the advice given.

Thankful

In times of great loss, we must be thankful, especially for the we have life and the opportunity to rebuild. As bad as it seems, it’s not that bad.

With another school shooting in our country, the political fighting continues. This episode is a humanistic call to action to protect our most vulnerable population, our children. This episode is also a reminder of how we have been here before, and stating that old familiar phrase of “our thoughts and prayers are with you”, while hoping another one does not happen. It is my hopes this episode will cause a self-examination and a reminder of who is really doing “the will of the people”.

We don’t want to find ourselves where a door of opportunity has opened but we do not have the education, skills, or experience necessary to walk through it. Moreover, we don’t have to worry about being removed when we are qualified and prepared for the opportunity.
Addicted to the Grind

This episode highlights how we as individuals become so addicted to grinding for success that we fail to realize that when we have achieved what we are grinding for. As a result, we continue grinding and never stopping or enjoying what we have worked for. Due to grinding, we neglect family, friends, and a balanced life because we do not know when to stop. This segment will causes us to reflect on finding the balance of grinding for what we need or want, but most importantly knowing when enough is enough.

Betting On You

This episode highlights the need to be your supporter. It serves as a reminder to always bet on you. When others count you out or give you ultimatums, bet on you. People will promote and demote you at will, however, when you are in control, you become the ultimate decision maker. Even when others try to control you, dim your light, and keep you from displaying your gifts, that is the time to step out and bet on you.
