Different tone than usual, Kylioken is recording solo this week and is playing catch up on the Nintendo direct we missed. Nintendo's 3DS & Wii-U  eShop shut down date is approaching soon. Sony decided to remove the PlayStation Plus collection later this year.

E3 has is looking very bleak this year with rumors of the 3 biggest companies withdrawing this year. Nintendo franchise need to utilize their franchise more. Is it time for a GBA games to be ported?

Our good friend Trauma has joined us today and we are here with our normal shenanigans. The talk of demos needing to comeback so the consumers can know the product they're receiving. The Idea of DLC being the norm is unacceptable.  Can we find the sweet spot between balance vs enjoyability and the comfort each gamer feel per. 

2023 the 16-Bit Dream is back and we were given a phenomenal game from our favorite anime/manga, One Piece. With One Piece Odyssey being such a success can any other anime franchise be turn into a game. 2023 already looks amazing and we discuss our most anticipated games this years.

The 2022 Video Game Awards nomination are in and we have a lot to discuss. Certain games we feel don't belong in the categories they're in.  God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring are the games we projected to win most, but we also give our prediction and wants for the award show.

Short episode discussing the changes that occur in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. We think the top 2 Nintendo soundtracks is between Donkey Kong and Pokémon franchise. 

Game Recommendation

Gotham Knight is out and the game is not looking to good at the moment. Resident Evil livestream was this week as and they have plenty of new information regarding the franchise. Silent is also back having 4 announcement. Super Hero games have been doing great but still need slight tweaks.

The Super Mario movie trailer has released and we briefly discuss the trailer. Overwatch 2 is officially out and the first week queue is something that needs to be fixed. The rest of show is the crew discussing the our favorite OST in gaming.

Game Recommendation

Gaming news have been going crazy last week. We received a Nintendo Direct, Sony State of Play, and the Tokyo Game Show happened. We review what we enjoyed from each event and now we play the waiting game. Grand Theft Auto 6 leak footage have surface and Rockstar themselves seem to be concerned about.

Today we tackle a serious topic of the acceptable age for gamers to play and why do others care how some one spends their free time. Nintendo Direct and a Sony State of Play are coming up and we give prediction and hopes. 

We are back after a week off due to personal reasons but with our return Kenta is joining us this week where we discuss our biggest disappointment in gaming. We are reviewing Soul Hackers 2 as group. The use and fairness of Hitboxes are under question by the FGC yet again.

Game Recommendation

Fortnite have done it again with their latest crossover being with Dragon Ball Super. Marvel's Spiderman is finally out on PC and we anticipating the sequal . and the Wolverine game. Ignore stupidity on the internet because you'll see quotes such as "Facts are not truth."

Evolution is back after a 2 year break and we discuss it basically the entire episode. We mentioned the results and announcements that we were excited, alongside the epic fights that took place this weekend. Sness isn't here but the homie Skinz is here filling in for him this week.

The highly anticipated 2nd wave of Mario Kart DLC will be release later on this week and we discuss our favorite tracks from previous titles. The future of Smash and Mario Kart going seems bleak since the current games set the bar way too high. The Japanese virtual console have more games than the rest of the world. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is out but it's not any of our cup of tea. Evo 2022 is this week and we speculate announcement. 

Stray released with great reception, some of the game success can be attributed to it being a day one release on PlayStation Plus Premium. We bring up playing games at our prefer difficulty weighing what's important between challenge, fun, or completion sake. should be  Greedo retells his experience with Halo Master Chief Collection. Evo 2022 is next week and we talk about what we want to see. WB Multiverse is out now and Smash Bros might have competition now.

Half way through the year and 2022 have delivered on the games so far, and the rest of the year has promised. The E-Shop is closing soon get the games while you can. Are we the only one catching on to Nintendo's formula when they are porting third party games? The concept of open world space games are interesting but have always missed a certain mark.

Slow week in the world of gaming but several games have received release dates including God of War Ragnarok. Small discussion of sand box titles such GTA and Saints Row, and we might be due for a new a game in that style. The holiday season is going to be crazy for releases. Handheld games are good but the controls for them are a pain in the ass. Forspoken was pushed back again and will it be the Cyberpunk 2077?

Several long awaited games have finally been announced, Mega Man Battle Network Collection officially revealed and Persona 3-5 are coming to the Nintendo Switch. DNF Duel recent release and the FGC community seem to be having trouble playing the game effectively. This new age of fighting games it seems like the majority of players have gone soft. Atlus seems to be back in their bag and they don't miss.

We are back from CEO in Daytona and we give a brief recap of our experience there. Nintendo announced a direct mini showcasing their 3rd party games. We discuss a little on competitive Pokémon.

Playstation Plus new service is finally here!!! We review the first week of it and the classic library is looking rough. Summer Game Fest 2022 is over and we give brief analysis of what we liked. The Tag Team Champions (Kylioken & Greedo) are back and we are discussing what we think were the highlights of the June 2, 2022 State of Play. Street Fighter 6 first gameplay reveal was shown, but in the midst of the SF6 reveal leaks have appeared showing the entire roster. Sony PlayStation Plus Extra release on Monday, review on that coming soon. The cat walking game Stray was revealed to be a day one release on the new PS Plus service and it gives hope that other titles would follow suit. Summer Game Fest begins this weekend let's hope for the best.

What is your gamer tag and is it something out of pocket? Sness put his cape on to defend Ness with his entire heart and soul. The cap is at an all time high, blame Smash. We discuss the not E3 event in the upcoming weeks.

WB Multiverse Alpha was this past weekend and discuss the concept of a franchise killer need to go. The new PlayStation Plus subscription has a release date of June 13, 2022 and will accompanied with Ubisoft Plus as well. We really just here having casual conversation.

All three members are back and we have to do this episode rather quickly, speaking of recording fast Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) is approaching and we discuss the games we want to see. Continuing the topic from episode 23 we resume ranking the top 3 games per consoles; Nintendo Game Cube, the original X-Box, and the PlayStation 2.  

Greedo wasn't able to join us today and we didn't want to continue last topic without him so instead of skipping the episode we are slowly approaching episode 24. We talk of our CEO2022 plans and what 5 games we would play if we were stranded on an island.  

We dedicate today's whole to discussing the best games per consoles splitting this topic into two episodes for time purposes. The first part we will be discuss the top games on Super Nintendo, the Nintendo 64, and the original PlayStation, while talking about our favorites games on each consoles.

Greedo is absent this week but we have Kenta here filling in. The eternal dilemma of balancing a work schedule and having time to play the game is brought up. The art of balancing your passion and not burning yourself ranging from Youtube channel, streaming, or practicing certain games. The experience that each individual have with various games ranging from newer to seasoned veterans. Gaming communities gatekeeping needs to stop.

We are joined today by Greedo and Sness brother Tip, and the main topic is mainstream success. Do the developers market the game for the mainstream audience or do the fan base decide. Sonic some how gets brought back by again. Video game infiltrating cinema, television, & anime. Kingdom Hearts IV was announce and we are comparing it to the scrapped Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer.

Our friend TrashPanda joins us for the podcast this week. E3 2022 has officially been cancelled, even though company can do their own video presentations is missing the E3 experience a huge factor for the enjoyment? PS Plus subscription service gets an overhaul adding games from the PS1, PS2 & PSP. Sega has problem with Sonic games but drop great games every where else & Sonic 2 release in theater this Friday. BOTW 2 delayed... yeah that a things

Are game reviewers being too generous with the scores they give nowadays? Dreamcast was such a great console but suffered due to Sega mistakes making too many products at one time. Project Spartacus is coming closer and we will hold judgement until the official announcement is made. Indie games are the replacement for classic titles but have too many indie games saturated the market? And Nintendo please fix the interface of your E-shop.

Greedo is out of town this week but the show must go on, in the mix we bring our friend Kenta to fill in for Greedo this week. Brief touch of gamer etiquette and new Nintendo product, nostalgia is a trap. Following that we basic shoot the breeze mainly with anime related topics.

We start the pod with a some criticism of the Kingdom Hearts cloud version and Nintendo ending the 3DS and Wii-U E-Shops soon. On brighter news Cyberpunk 2077 is finally a functioning game. The three of us being huge SMT fans we were exciting to talk about the Soul Hacker 2 announcement, but on the other hand Persona fans distain for everything not Persona creates bitter feelings. Street Fighter 35th anniversary is now and they have made 2 big announcement, the first one the Capcom Fighting Collection and Street Fighter 6. We also been playing The King of Fighter XV and realize we might be in the new golden era of fighting games.

Time for our Nintendo Direct 2/9/2022 review and we have plenty to say about all the craziest announcement. Tactical RPGs are making a huge comeback this year and we are excited for titles such Project Triangle Strategies, Front Mission 1 & 2, and Metal Slug Tactics. Is Nintendo is finally on the right path to becoming company we know they can be?

Is the quality of games falling off? This is going to be a Greedo episode; with that in mind should game provide the content for the price tag they are offering and do the little things like texture and frame rate matter to the experience. Warning Kylioken & Greedo go at it again.

Microsoft made a super big money play acquiring Activision Blizzard for 68.7 BILLION dollars. What plans do they have up there sleeves with this move and how will the other companies react. Gamers have an issue with God of War being ported to PC and  on the other hand the entire Kingdom Hearts series being ported as a cloud based game to the Nintendo Switch which bring up the topic of port begging and the dealing with ramification of it.

Games Done Quick (GDQ), a week long charity event where runners attempt to speed run a game is happening right now and we want to bring some attention to the event. On the depressing side Capcom Cup 2021-22 is cancelled due to Covid which may affect Street Fighter's 35th Anniversary and E3 is moving to a digital event yet again.

Today we look at the IGN top 100 game list and we are not very optimistic. Certain placement are DEFINITELY questionable while we feel some game (mainly Greedo) think most of the games don't belong on the list

Fresh from Christmas we seen an intriguing list of overrated games and decided to list games we find overrated ourselves (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is ban in this conversation), we also ask is being overrated a bad thing. We list a few underrated games as well and why we think they need more recognition. Happy New Year and let's grow in 2022!!!
