Masculinity is a set of attributes, behaviours, and roles associated with boys and men. A simple definition for something so very complicated. As a man how should you behave? How must you to fit in? And what if you do not or cannot?

There's no one defining moment in a young man's life when he 'comes of age'. Becoming a man is made up of a number of life defining moments that you're not even aware of until well after the fact. That said almost every man, if he is straight, remembers his first girlfriend. It's an exciting, confusing and wonderful time, full of traps and hilarity.

For lots of people pondering why we are here, and how we became conscious of ourselves is the greatest of life's mysteries. Over the last ten years of so mental health has come into the forefront of social consciousness. We know that suffering some depression, anxiety or other challenge can be as damaging as a tangible issue with the body. It's also much more prevalent than people assume, and anyone can be susceptible.

Great Britain is a nation of drinkers. No one does it quite like us Brits. As you get older, usually in your 30s or so, you go from being proud of how much you can put away in a single night to thinking about the damage it's doing to your body. Getting to that point isn't easy, and not everyone gets there.

There comes a point - when you're about 15 or 16 - where your parents stop just giving you money. You have to find your own way in the world and start making your own cheddar, bringing in your own bacon. The result is often hilarious and beautiful in forming what you become as adults.

Being a human being is tricky enough. Being a fully grown man and feeling as though you can't display emotion for fear of showing weakness is a mind-f*ck in itself. School is an interesting time for us all. You're in a situation where you're trying to build a foundation for the future, but the reality is that you're trying to work out why your body is changing, why the people you fancy don't like you, and why your place in the pecking order is decided by whether you can fight or not.
