1001: A Film Podyssey is hosted by Jake Price & Callum Brown. Each week we discuss a film included in the film reference book , 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, edited by Steven Jay Schneider.
We also release weekly 'Top 3' episodes - these episodes can be about any film, whether it's Ivan's Childhood or Stuart Little 2 , we've got it covered.
'Main Review' episodes are released every Friday and the 'Top 3' episodes come out every Tuesday.

We've had a nightmare with some of our older episodes and potential copyright infringement, meaning we've had to delete a fair amount of our older episodes forever (very sad). When we started this podcast, all the way back in January 2023, we were two naive young boys, still learning the ways of the podcast world and how it's run - therefore, we stupidly included a lot of copyrighted material in earlier episodes, mostly without following the rules of the fair use policy, therefore, they had to go!In this recap episode, I (Callum) provide a semi-explanation about what happened and also detail what was said in the lost episodes. We are looking into salvaging some of the older episodes too! This should hopefully make our newer episodes make a bit more sense, especially if we refer back to films mentioned in said 'lost episodes', please use this recap and our master list as a reference point! I (still Callum) take full responsibility for this balls up, and will learn to be better, thank you for your time.
In this episode of the podcast, we discuss our picks for the films that were nominated for a Best Picture Oscar, but somehow didn't win (and argue why they maybe should have). We also review the satirical classic, Network. 1001: A Film Podyssey is hosted by Jake Price & Callum Brown.LINKTREE: https://linktr.ee/1001podLetterboxd Master list: https://letterboxd.com/1001filmpod/list/1001-a-film-podyssey-master-list/
