It's a bittersweet symphony as the Mikes arrive at the first half of the Transformers Animated series finale, "Endgame, Part I." A flashback-heavy tale unfolds, setting up the origins of the Autobot team we know and love--the trial of Optimus Prime, the final commission of Ratchet, the friendship of Bee and Bulk, and the fate of Prowl. In the present, Optimus earns his wings (and maybe hammer) while Megatron reveals his big plan (no, bigger) from the darkest reaches of the moon.
The Mikes have been chewed up and spit out by these mean streets, so they're jumping into the Space Bridge Nexus, along with the enigmatic nicknameless Abbey, to unwrap the hardest-boiled episode of Transformers Animated yet: Season 3's "This Is Why I Hate Machines."
