Owen and his brother, Charlie set off on that great springtime adventure chasing long beards. We celebrate a successful hunt, and tons of turkey interactions. 

After a break, Owen and Ryan hit the studio to wrap up 2024 season, discuss Wisconsin's Hunter Safety program, and our ramp up to Turkey Season 2025. 

Wait....what? A 12 year year old with a boat? Yup, you heard that right. Owen talks about his new (to him) boat, and plans he has for the future. We kickoff Season 2 with a brief review of our inaugural season. Then we get right into the story telling, recapping WI Youth Deer Hunt 2024. Success and mistakes. 

First in a likely series of episodes where Owen and Ryan discuss different strategies we use to target bass. Last year, we really started targeting bass and had a blast, looking to get more into it this year. 

Nothing compares to watching a new hunter connect on their first day in the field. Ryan and Owen will recap the youth turkey hunt, and share how their weekend went. 

This week Ryan and Owen talk about all sorts of stuff. We discuss books. We'll share some of our bookshelf with you. Books for young readers who love the outdoors as much as Owen does, how-to books, devotionals and more. Then we'll wrap up our discussion on small game hunting and then a bit about shed hunting. Love em or hate em, one thing can't be disputed, a big pike can add a load of excitement to a day's fishing outing. Rabbits and squirrel hunting is today's discussion topic. Full disclosure, neither Owen nor Ryan never done this before. In this, part one, we'll talk about our expectations, the gear we'll use, and what we look for in a place to hunt. Here's hoping our preparation help us to harvest a meal or two. 

Buck down! Listen in as Owen shares the tale of his first deer hunt, and Ryan tells about his encounter with the biggest whitetail buck he'd ever seen in the woods. This was certainly a season to remember for many reasons.
