I talk about the NFL, year round. Episodes are short, give it a listen. I dive into all aspects--current story lines, free agency, salary cap, coaching changes. The league has never been more popular, and I love to gasbag. Perfect combination. Check it out when you have a few minutes.
The New York Jets won their 2024 season finale against the Miami Dolphins. Aaron Rodgers had a season-high 4 touchdown passes in the win, giving Jets fans a glimpse of what could have been. After finishing the 2024 season with a disappointing 5-12 record, where do Rodgers and the Jets go from here?
2024 did not go the way Miami Dolphins fans had hoped. What is the path forward? A look back at 2024, as well as Mike McDaniel's first two (playoff) seasons in Miami.

The first ever 12-team CFP kicks off tonight. We do a quick preview of the first round matchups.
Thoughts on Bill Belichick being hired by the University of North Carolina as the next head football coach.
The Chicago Bears must hire a strong personality at Head Coach for 2025 and beyond. Mike Vrabel is their best option. They NEED to make it happen. They have too much talent to not be relevant. Ryan Poles should be actively working on a deal to get Vrabel to the Windy City. Whatever it takes, do it.
The 2024 Jets are awful. The level of ineptitude is astonishing. This team stinks, and there's no hope under current ownership. Jets fans deserve better. This is a LOSER organization.
The Giants need to fire GM Joe Schoen. 2024 is a lost season. He let Xavier McKinney and Saquon Barkley walk and got absolutely nothing in return. Both players are currently on pace to make an All-Pro team in 2024. Daniel Jones was signed to a 4yr/$160M deal prior to 2023. One of the worst QB contracts we've seen in recent history. As of Week 12 2024, Daniel Jones no longer plays for the Giants. Listen to this episode to re-visit how it all could have been avoided if the Giants simply picked up Daniel Jones' 5th year option when Schoen made the decision to hire Daboll in January of 2022.

Thursday Night Football on $AMZN Prime Video gave us an awesome game in the AFC North. Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase dominated the Ravens defense. A lot of moves made going into the trade deadline in 2024. We'll get into those as well. What a time in the #NFL. This is fantastic.

Thoughts on Thursday Night's game between the Houston Texans and the New York Jets
Thoughts on the Texans at Jets headed into the Thursday Night Game on Amazon Prime Video. The banged up Texans opened as 1-point road favorites, and close as 3-point underdogs leading up to kickoff. The Jets MUST win this game if they want to have any chance, mathematically, at making the playoffs.
Some thoughts heading into Week 8. DeAndre Hopkins traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. Jerry Jones getting defensive on the radio again. Thursday Night Football gave us a great game with the Vikings and Rams. Thoughts on the controversial ending and the impact these calls have on the NFL economy.

Amari Cooper is traded to the Bills where he teams up with a capable NFL quarterback once again.
Davante Adams is traded to the Jets where he teams up with Aaron Rodgers once again.
Week 6 thoughts on the NFL. Cleveland's 2024 season is being ruined by their owner. They are wasting an elite roster and a 2x Coach of the Year. What is going on in Philadelphia? Dallas Cowboys have an AT&T Stadium problem. Denver Broncos are nowhere near as good as their .500 record might suggest.
Thoughts on NFL Week 5. Jets offense is playing lousy, they fired Robert Saleh this week. Cleveland Browns are terrible and heading no where fast. Will they make a change at QB? Cowboys-Steelers SNF game delivered, important win for the Cowboys. Jags-Bears open up the Week 6 action in London. Jags need the game to have any hope. Bears have an opportunity to prove this 2024 team is not the same old Bears.

October is here and the first 4 weeks of the 2024 season are in the books. We got Steelers-Colts way wrong on the pick last week. Eagles get crushed, fans want Sirianni gone, Browns offense is stuck in the mud, Davante Adams requests a trade, Bucs-Falcons TNF.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-0. They are one of the more surprising teams early in the 2024 season. Many were skeptical about going into the season with Russell Wilson/Justin Fields as their QB. So far so good. Chance to go to 4-0 against the Colts in Week 4.
Tua Tagovailoa left Week 2 against the Bills after another concussion. There have been a lot of strong reactions in the days following. Let's all give some consideration to the idea that, whatever he decides to do moving forward, this is Tua's decision. Let's all respect that. (Recorded 9/14)
Thoughts from Jaguars-Bills and Commanders-Bengals matchups following the Week 3 Monday Night Football games.

Tyreek Hill signed a re-worked contract with the Miami Dolphins. As usual, the reporting on the numbers is inconsistent depending on the outlet. But the contract adjustment was coming before 2024 one way or another. Listen to this episode to see how this modified deal benefits both Hill and the Dolphins.
Clunky processes by both Miami and Green Bay in signing their quarterbacks to extensions. Tua Tagovailoa and Jordan Love are good players and should absolutely be starters in this league. However, the front office for both teams could have, and should have, managed their situations more efficiently. Time will tell how it impacts their overall rosters.
Aaron Rodgers was brought in to be the quarterback for the Jets. Does he have more power than he should? Why is no one talking about how his tenure could impact the organization for years to come? Listen to this episode for factors to consider.
The Cleveland Browns have a loaded roster. They should be a legitimate contender in the AFC, but they are rarely in the discussion. Why? The quarterback (and the owner) are holding them back. They have a sharp GM, a two-time NFL Coach of the Year, star players all over the field; yet their ceiling remains low.
The new kickoff rules for 2024 are going to make the play significantly more interesting. Not only will the play itself look different, we will also see changes to gameday actives/inactives, general overall roster construct, and even defensive game plans. Listen to to this episode

This episode takes a closer look at relative value and what you can expect to see with WR compensation.
Trevor Lawrence was extended by Jacksonville this off-season. Was it the right move? Or, too soon, too much? This episode goes into both the reasons for, and against the move by the Jaguars to pay their young Quarterback.
The Cleveland Browns have traded for Jerry Jeudy. They have now surrounded Deshaun Watson with the best receiving corps he has had in his NFL career. If he can't get it done this year, major problems on the horizon.
