Hicks was a fourth round MLB draft pick of the Seattle Mariners in 2011 and spent over a decade playing professional baseball including six years in the big leagues with the Mariners, Tigers and Rangers. Hicks is expected to graduate with his degree from UVA this spring and has been serving on the Cavaliers coaching staff this season.
