Napoli hadn’t lost at home for 25 games… and we’ve just rocked up at the Maradona and nicked it.

All three goals from Brazil and Argentina, and for once Chelsea put their foot down when it mattered. Estêvão's solo goal is magic, João Pedro bags another important goal, and Enzo sticks away the pen like it’s training.

Job done on paper, but this one felt like 90 minutes of pushing treacle uphill.

It wasn’t pretty. At times it was barely watchable. But Chelsea won a football match, and right now that’s all that matters.

A semi-final, at home, and we basically handed them the keys. 3–2 makes it look close but it didn’t feel like it at times.

The new era starts with a win.

This one hurt. Properly.
