We'll see what the illness does with us next. Will Andrew get a fever again? Will his voice disappear? And worst of all, we were in the path of that huge snow storm and got dumped on- will we ever be free of the shoulder-level snow drift in front of our house before it all melts?!
This could've been longer, but we held back. Somehow.
It's so many looks, you guys, and the Snatch Game choice was a choice.
The fact that we aren't a partially visual podcast is a blessing and a curse, because I had so many cursed edits come to mind during this. A Canadian cowboy ranching barrels of syrup is probably my favorite. (Also, there's apparently some tea about a certain performance we did not know when recording this. That will be in the next episode.)
It's a little late to just review the promo looks, but we're doing this season!
At least the musical didn't suck? Sorry if the edit feels a bit rough, though, I was in a rush.
It's quite a lovely set of episodes, even if we don't agree with several key rankings.
Vampires at the beach should be an oxymoron, but instead it's just like a 60s beach bash!
So many looks! And it's all described by one person. No wonder my voice was starting to crack by the end of this.
CORRECTION: the festival/gathering that the contestants were at was called "Neotropolis."
14 monsters.
14 monsters, 10 episodes, and who knows if the trapdoor's returning, but it's a recipe for Titans 2: electric boogaloo.
Hey, we're still planning to finish the season. Just give us a moment, things are weird and busy right now.
No, that's not a joke. This episode had less entertainment value than The Room.
It's a double feature, thankfully it didn't take too long to edit. Apologies if anything weird managed to slip through.Warning: Dragula is not suitable for all audiences. Listener discretion is advised. Your cohosts: Gui's YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GuiSmith
This season is full of clown f*ckers, just like the audience seems to be. Should we be surprised?Warning: Dragula is not suitable for all audiences. Listener discretion is advised. Your cohosts: Gui's YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GuiSmith
[Insert generic description. You decide!]
[Addendum: Apologies to Jay Kay for use of the wrong pronouns in this episode. They use they/them and I mistakenly thought they used he/him and she/her.] It's way too late at night when I'm uploading this, so have a bungled description. Kay thanks bye.Warning: Dragula is not suitable for all audiences. Listener discretion is advised. Your cohosts: Gui's YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GuiSmith
It’s a filthy, filthy episode, and Andrew and I were just about to get sick when we recorded. What lovely timing.Warning: Dragula is not suitable for all audiences. Listener discretion is advised. Your cohosts:
There's a lot that is supposed to be woodsy that isn't, and a lot that is supposed to be terrifying that isn't. This'll be interesting.
Happy Halloween, uglies! It's time for another season of Dragula and thus another season of 2 Gays Dragcast! Sorry we won't be finishing out Titans.
We're real late with this one. Even the dubbing I added was meant to line up with us uploading by the Monday before the finale. Welp, now we already have a finale, and... those who know, know. The tea will be burnt by the time we get there, but I'm sure it's going to be entertaining regardless. We'll be doing two separate episodes to make sure I can be more consistent.
A prombie, if you will.
It's a bit late, but there's a lot here. I hope this amount of effort and funny was worth it.
Shoes. Let's party.
Despite the ridiculousness, it was still very entertaining.
It took a while, but it's finally here! Today, we review the EW article that first promoted the soon premiering Dragula Titans. Note that we didn't have the trailer at the time of recording, but it would've only made our few "wish I saw it move" comments go away. The reveals are nice, but... Abhorra's still a bird abomination (abirdination if you will), and Yovska's still got nicer makeup beneath that mask. You'll get it when you get there.
My apologies in the timing of this episode. I got delayed, delayed again, and then increasingly unmotivated to finish with how late it already was. Hope you enjoy this review, now it's finally out.
We clown around, the contestants get cream pied in the face by a bunch of zombie clowns, and Merrie Cherry is back to haunt everyone with her (terrible) reads. This episode is a carnival of laughs.
Wowee, that was a lot to edit. Thankfully, it isn't much longer than a standard episode in the end. Apologies if it comes off a little frazzled due to the fact that we talked about some stuff out of order.
NOTICE: we will be taking an extra week between episodes to just have a breather and recover from various ailments that have maligned us recently. You can hear it at times in Gui's voice here.
Iiiiit's that time of the season again! The monsters must rock the house down to a song by Poppy, for Poppy!
This episode has it all: jokes, seriousness, reads, edits, even cameos from Trixie Mattel and that ridiculous movie Rubber.
Campy beach movies meet vampires this week as our monsters have a gay old time at the Nosferatu Beach Party! (Also, instead of the usual clip, Andrew did the voiceover from the Dragula episode. I'm biased to say he did well.)
Apologies for Andrew's fan being audible. I did noise reduce to eliminate as much of the noise as possible. It's a lot better than it was. Anyways, it's time for the new season. To celebrate the occasion, there's also new art!
Weeeee'rrrreeeee baaaacccckkkk!~ It's time to meet the monsters of season 4, and oh there's some tea.
We rise again to talk about the queens who rise again... and while most fall back down, one may still live to compete another day. At least, so we assumed. And stay past the end credits for a little more fun/love. Thanks for tuning in, and until next time, good-bye!
We briefly cover the reunion/recap episode and then it's off to the finale! We've got nine looks to cover again. This is it! Also, we barely could see Landon's horror look. Thanks to Redit we now know that it was 1000% more terrifying than we originally thought. Thanks for tuning in, and until next time, good-bye!
Your cohosts:
It's a drag horror double feature! This episode covers the looks, challenges, and floor shows of both episode 7 and episode 8. It's a longer episode too, with plenty of random and somewhat on-topic banter to boot. Next episode, as stated in this one, will also be a double feature of the reunion and finale episodes. There's not too much to talk about, minus us absolutely gushing over the final floor shows. Which, given the winner gets covered in blood, is pretty apt. Thanks for tuning in, and until next time, good-bye!
We apologise for the late upload. We've been reeling from the Dragula upload schedule and also this goddamn episode. It has everything you need in a haunted hospital challenge: a mutant, exposed brains, mad scientists, and even Dollya the leech girl who we are surprisingly okay with for once! Thanks for tuning in, and until next time, good-bye!
While Disasterina has a thing with Dungeons and Dragons, she is much more of a spokesperson for the trash queens of the world! She's the most filthy, fabulous trash queen and we love her. We also love a good few of these garbage looks. The trash is not enough, though, folks. Thanks for tuning in, and until next time, good-bye!
It's all about the three d's: dungeons, dragons, and you thought it was gonna be dick but it's actually references to Disasterina! Sadly she isn't in this episode. By the way, hi, we would love to have you on! Thank you so much for tuning in, and until the next one (which should be very soon), good-bye!
The first legacy challenge, that Guy had hoped for/predicted: the rock competition! We've got some drama, breaking character, some repeats of season 2, and all that good stuff! Thanks for listening, and until next time, goodbye!
The contestants have to suck blood, strip, and dance the Burlesque for the judges this week. It's getting JUICY in here. Thanks for listening, and until next time, goodbye!
Welcome to the start of our dive into Dragula Season 3! This season has everything: misunderstanding the assignment, cardboard, prosthetics, a drag king, more budget, and ever-creepier Boulet shorts that Andrew still is not here for. Thanks for listening, and until next time, goodbye!
This episode of 2GDC is a wrap-up of what was started back on the Blossoms & Smith Show back on YouTube about TWO WHOLE YEARS ago. It also details a bit about the podcast and what to expect. I will also mention that in the future, as mentioned at the start of the episode, that in the future the old episodes of the Blossoms and Smith Show will (MAYBE) be remastered to be released on this feed. Thank you for listening, and until next time, goodbye.
