Donkey Kong replaced the boards of thousands of Radar Scope cabinets in 1981, and changed the world of arcade gaming forever. Is the Atari 8 bit port at the top of the heap?

Star Trek Strategic Operations Simulator is neither a simulator or really that strategic. But it is a well-developed port which surpasses the Sega color vector original! 

Skool Daze is a truly original simulation of a British schoolday circa 1984 that originally on the ZX Spectrum and C64, but has recently been ported to the Atari 8 bit. 

Released in 1983 and notable for its lush graphics, humorous driver, and options like a track editor and two player simultaneous play, it's hard to beat Rally Speedway when you want a fast action lap around the track!

Presumably the first in a sadly cancelled series of RTJ games, Death Star Battle attempts to recreate the climactic scene from the final film of the original trilogy. How well does it succeed? 

Moon Patrol has some of the best arcade action and music that could be found at home in 1983. Such a shame about the buggy.

Dropzone was the result of a concerted effort by a gifted programmer to produce an arcade-quality game for the Atari 8 bits. It's still fun today!

Montezuma's Revenge was a bedroom-coded masterpiece for the Atari 8 bit computers. It's a must-play!

Archon combined the strategy of chess with the action of the gladiators home to Atari 8 bit owners in 1983. Another huge hit for Electronic Arts!
