In this Issue of 2Beards 1Comic Jesse will be the one who takes us into a Year one sequel, Batman: The Long Halloween (DC Comics), this iconic story was written by Jeph Loeb and Art by Tim Sale. If that wasnt strange enough, Colton takes us to a Flooded earth 200 years in the future when we discuss The Wake (Vertigo) Written by Scott Snyder and Art by Sean Murpy.

Issue #8 kicks off right where #7 left off for Colton, still focused on The current Death Metal run published by DC Comics, Colton recounts the short stories from Legends of the Dark Knights #1 (stories written by Scott Snyder, james tynion IV, joshua Williamson,peter J. Tomasi, margurite Bennett, Frank Tieri, Daniel warren Johnson and Garth Ennis. Art by Tony S. Daniel, Riley Rossmo, Jamal Igle, Francesco Fancavilla, Daniel Warren Johnson, and joëlle Jones) Jesse then gives a quick review of Lady Killer (written and drawn by Joëlle Jones). and then the Tall one also shares a glimpse into one of his top picks, Birthright, a Fantasy Series about TWO BROTHERS.... released by Image Comics (written by Joshua Williamson and Art by Andrei Bressan) lastly the two brothers geek out over the new Teaser Trailer for The Batman (DC Films and Warner Bros. Pictures)

In this Issue, the two brothers have both just read DC Comics - Death Metal #1. The first time on this Podcast both brothers will review what they witnessed within this twisted Dark Universe and what drew them to love this intro into a new DC series. This week the brothers finally get together after a long break to talk about what they have been reading to keep busy during the pandemic. Jesse went back into his collection to read some Hellboy and Colton caught up on Batman (issues #85 to #92). Good news!!!! Comic book stores are now open so they look forward to getting back into the swing of things

Lovecraft's The Hound and Other Stories by Gou Tanabe, Dark Horse Comics And The Cimmerian: Queen of The Black Coast #1 Written by Jean-David Morvan Art by Pierre Alary Ablaze Comics) which are linked by Pen Pals and then Colton gets bummed out about how TCC (Toronto Comic Con) was cancelled due to covid-19. Colton talks about what he had in store and how he's making the best of it.

In Issue #2 of 2beards 1comic Jesse and Colton talk about comics that involve some of their favorite characters. Jesse takes us into the world of Fear agent (written by Rick Remender) and how the character has influenced his interest in comics and his own art. Colton then gets excited for a new mini series by DC Comics - DCeased: Unkillables (written by Tom Taylor) - Colton talks about his favorite character Red Hood and why he was so pumped for Jasons involvement in the Unkillables storyline.
